what was I thinking?

So on the way to Trader Joe's this morning, I posed a question to my husband: If you were to be swallowed whole by some theoretical prehistoric shark like the ones you see on the covers of DVD's at Blockbuster like "Shark Attack III: Megaladon", how would you die? (Assuming of course that you had scuba gear and a very large tank) - what would get you first? Suffocation, heart attack, digestion?

He said (as all men would) "I would pull out my knife and cut my way thorough the bastard" (I added bastard for more macho effect).

To which I replied, "So, you would in essence be cutting through this fish in a red, bloody mess. You would not be able to see, so you would just be hacking at it?". Then I thought so if you did actually get out, that would be like finishing a marathon and you would be so proud until, A) The shark is still alive because of its size and simply bites your head off as you struggle to get out of its gut, or B) The other sharks in a 10 mile radius race to the spot after the smell hits them and they take care of you!

These are the thoughts that are in my head....Am I alone?
